Most software is built to work the same way for everyone. That is a reasonable thing to build. It just isn’t the part we find interesting.
We make the other kind — small, sharp tools that fit one real workflow properly and keep what you have taught them. Used long enough, they stop feeling like software you installed and start feeling like the way you work.

02 How we work
Start at the friction
We look for the specific place where the work snags — the step you dread, the window you keep hunting for — and finish that one thing completely before moving on. The pieces are built to fit together later.
Care where it is not required
A lot of what we do is unnecessary. The animation nobody asked for. The error message rewritten twice. The setting that already defaults correctly. Unnecessary is usually where the good part lives.
Yours, not ours
Your data, your settings and your habits stay on your machine. Our tools are useful before you make an account, and most of them never ask you to make one.
